Enrollment Process

Because it is impossible to have every single schedule option available for every family, we have standardized the options to include before-school care, school day, and after-school care options.  While completing the re-enrollment paperwork, please select the option that best fits your family's needs.  Schedule changes may be made based on environment and staff availability throughout the year.

Kindergarten – 8^th Grade families participating in Ed Choice Traditional, and some Expansion Scholarships will be balanced billed for the difference between the scholarship and full tuition.  Families needing additional financial assistance are asked to complete our FACTS application for additional scholarship support.  Scholarships will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis following the closing of re-enrollment season (February 26, 2024).

Yes, CMS requires the days to be consecutive (Mon/Tues/Wed OR Tues/Wed/Thurs).  We have found over the years that this allows for easier transitions for our students.

Then you can select a 5-day schedule and choose 4 consecutive days for your child to attend Canton Montessori School.  Please email HOS@cantonmontessori.org for more details.

No.  Because of lack of participation, CMS is not able to staff after-school care at our Elementary Campus.

We are pleased to offer summer lunch options for our students.  Lunch options will look different than during the school year as fewer students participate.  Daily lunch options will meet all the appropriate requirements of the food plate/pyramid.

According the current Canton Montessori School Family Handbook (pg. 13)

A waiting list will be created for entry into a program that is full. Students will be placed on the waiting list based upon the date of completion of their admission process. Families with one or more children already enrolled will have priority status on any waiting lists, as will children of employees. To move from the waiting list into registration status, payment of any fees are required. Note: both the (application fee and/or tuition deposit) are expected.

Pending completion of the admission process/acceptance to the program and when an application and advanced tuition deposit are received and there is a current space available for the child, that child will be enrolled.

If a space is NOT available for the time requested, the family is given the option of being placed on a waiting list. Names are entered on the waiting list in the order the completed application and advance tuition deposit are received.

Should a family decide to remove their name from the wait list, only the $300.00 tuition deposit will be refunded.
